FAQs 

At Deco Kraft Kart, we like to be up front and clear with everything before we host your event.  We want your event to run as smoothly as possible. Our FAQs are a great way to learn more about our process. If there is something you are curious about that hasn't been answered, please reach out to us!  

  • How many children do the packages include?
    Party package prices include up to 12 guests, including the guest of honor. Additional guests can join in for an extra charge per child, based on the package selected.
  • What is the maximum amount of children the Kart can accommodate?
    The Kart has been designed to accommodate a maximum of 16 children.
  • What are the space requirements needed for the Kart to park and set up?
    The Kart requires a minimum of 50 feet of flat space to park. Sloped or curved driveways will not be usable space as they pose a hazard.
  • Can we bring food into the Kart or do the packages include food?
    Deco Kraft Kart specializes in providing fun DIY crafting experience for your event. We do not provide any food or beverage packages and for safety purposes, no food or beverages are permitted in the studio.
  • Can you host a party in our front or backyard and not inside the Kraft Kart?
    A front or backyard set up with tables and chairs is available and must be discussed in advance. Please note, the Kraft Kart will still be brought to your property, as the items inside are needed to host the party. 50 feet of parking space will still need to be dedicated for the Kart to park, in addition to yard space for set up of tables and chairs.
  • Is the Kart climate controlled?
    Yes, the Kart is climate controlled with heat and A/C providing a comfortable enviromnment.
  • Is there a travel charge?
    A $50 travel fee will be charged for any booking located beyond Dickson County.
  • Do you still host the party if the weather is bad?
    We roll all year long, except if there is snow or ice on the ground, freezing temperatures, or severe storms. Safety comes first, always! In the event of severe weather, where we are asked to take precautions and be weather ready, we will reschedule your event to a date and time of your choosing.
  • Can I cancel my booking and have my deposit refunded in an event of an emergency?
    Deposits are not refundable but are transferable. You can change the date and time of your booking to accommodate your new schedule. We will try our best to reschedule your booking to the revised and desired date and time as long as our schedule allows.
  • When can I expect you on the day of my event?
    Deco Kraft Kart will arrive 30 minutes before the agreed upon party time to safely set up the Kart and all materials. The party will start promptly at the agreed upon time in your contract.
  • Are the materials safe for children?
    All projects are made from quality sourced materials and paints are non-toxic.
  • How much is the deposit to book?
    A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to book and reserve your desired date and time.
  • How far in advance should I book a party?
    Parties must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • When will my final guest count be needed?
    Final guest count is due one week prior to the event, but the earlier the better so we can plan each guest's individual craft activity.
  • Will I receive a confirmation email prior to the event date?
    One week prior to the event date, a confirmation email will be sent to finalize all details.
  • When will the balance be collected?
    Balance due is based on the final guest count and in cash on the day of the event.
